This solid birch stir fry spatula was carved with hatchet and knife from a windfallen paper birch near our shop. This was very enjoyable to carve from nice, fine grain birch wood. The spatula has been lightly baked and sealed with pure tung oil finish, which is food safe.
This piece is approximately 11" long. The blade is approximately 2 1/2" at the widest point. Carved without use of machinery or sandpaper, the spoon has a traditional, smooth knife finish. Perfect for stir fry vegetables or scrambled eggs, and won't scratch your favorite pan.
Wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry with a cloth. Hand wash only for years of enjoyment.
