Poplar is a very sturdy, straight, and lightweight wood, great for crafting brooms. For a wild collected branch handle, this one is very straight. The bark has been sanded very smooth, and treated with natural beeswax wood finish. This broom sweeps well, left or right, and feels perfectly balanced in the hands. The broom corn sweep is nice and full, approximately 2" thick. The overall length of the broom is approximately 58", and the sweep is about 9" wide. Perfect for the cabin or rustic kitchen!

In our small workshop in the Pacific Northwest, we weave them one at a time. Every broom is unique, and designed to last for many years. Most of our items are in stock and ready to ship in 2-3 days. We do ship many orders same day, when we can. Our shipping track record is fast. Occasionally we may be out of stock on an item, and will make and ship those orders asap. We welcome special broom orders... it takes about 1 week for special broom orders, plus shipping time.
