This is a quirky little spoon, but delightful. I may well become someone's favorite in the kitchen. The bent branch was a wind fallen alder, which is sturdy and light weight. The bowl has been carved to show the tree's growth rings. Hand carved with hatchet and knives.
Ready to ship. You will receive this very spoon.
The overall length of this spoon is 12" The bowl measures 3" long x 2 3/8" wide. Sealed with food grade pure tung oil. The handle is colored with food safe Terra Cotta milk paint. Carved without use of machinery or sandpaper, the spoon has a traditional whittled knife finish.
Wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry with a cloth. Hand wash only for years of enjoyment.
