This long handled stir fry spoon was carved with hatchet and knife from a windfallen paper birch near our shop. This was very enjoyable to carve from nice, fine grain birch wood. The spoon has been lightly baked and sealed with pure tung oil finish, which is food safe.

The spoon is approximately 12" long. The bowl is approximately 3 1/4" long and 2 1/2" wide. Carved without use of machinery or sandpaper, the spoon has a traditional, smooth knife finish. Perfect for stir fry vegetables or scrambled eggs, and won't scratch your favorite pan.

The handle of the spoon is colored with food safe milk paint. Decorated with a whittled finial just for fun.

Wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry with a cloth. Hand wash only for years of enjoyment.
