This broom is built on a knotty mountain alder branch handle, with nice mottling on the bark. It has lovely character, and well balanced in the hands. The sweep is nice and full, woven tightly and stitched with two rows of linen twine. The overall length of the broom is 57". The sweep is 9" and about 2" thick. The handle diameter averages 1", treated with non toxic beeswax wood finish. Made in our shop. A unique broom, which will look great hanging in the rustic cabin. And a great tool when you need it!
