Quaking Aspen is a very sturdy and lightweight wood, perfect for crafting brooms. The smooth, peeled has character knots, which will be enjoyed when hanging on the wall. The handle has been sanded smooth, and treated with natural beeswax wood finish. Whittling facets give a nice grip and look nice, too. This broom sweeps well, left or right, and feels perfectly balanced in the hands. The broom corn sweep is nice and full, approximately 2" thick. The overall length of the broom is approximately 57", and the sweep is about 9" wide. Perfect for the cabin or rustic kitchen!
