This broom is built on a very straight quaking aspen branch handle, with nice mottling on the bark. It has lovely character, and well balanced in the hands. The sweep is nice and full, woven tightly and stitched with three rows of linen twine. The overall length of the broom is 58". The sweep is 9" and about 2" thick. The handle diameter averages 1", sanded smooth, then treated with non toxic beeswax wood finish. Made in our shop. A unique broom, which will look great hanging in the rustic cabin. And a great tool when you need it!
