Ready to ship. You will recieve this very broom.
The tamarack handles are collected locally in Okanogan county, Washington. Locally called tamarack, western larch is fine grained, straight and strong. The bark has been whittled from the branch, and the wood sanded smooth. The wood is coated with natural beeswax finish. A leather loop is provided for hanging on a hook.
This broom is 57" long overall. The sweep is approximately 10" wide, perfect for cleaning up in the kitchen. It is a long, slender broom, light in weight, and a nice balanced feel. It will look quite elegant hanging on the wall between uses.
Ready to Ship.
We have a strong passion for brooms - creating them, learning about them, and using them. Each broom we offer is built by hand using 1800's methods borrowed from the Shakers. In our small workshop in the Pacific Northwest, we weave them one at a time. Every broom is unique, and designed to last for many years. Our ambition is to offer brooms of the finest craftsmanship -- and give each one our personal guarantee of quality.
Our best wishes
Kevin & Sarah
